Get Lost Stickers

Here in Montana we often see this sticker on people's cars.  When I first saw it I was a little offended and thought that the people of Montana didn't want any outsiders coming to their state.  This is partially true so they can maintain the beauty of the state, but not what the intent of the sticker is for.  The purpose of the stickers is totally opposite of what I first thought it meant. 

Closer examination of the stickers shows that it actually says: Get Lost.(In Montana).  Going to the website(http://www.getlostmt.com/) gives you more information and the site's title states, "Lose Yourself Finding the Best of Montana."  The stickers are a marketing campaign to promote tourism in Montana.  It totally doesn't seem like it would attract tourists, but it does. 

This reminded me of the cliche statement of "Don't judge a book by it's cover"  There are a lot of people we come in contact with that put a label(sticker) on Mormons right away that says: "Get Lost."  Our job as missionaries is to help promote understanding  and have people examine us closer.  Our sticker really says: "Get Lost in the Gospel of Jesus Christ."  Give it a try, don't judge a book by it's cover, and help us promote understanding.  What do you have to lose?
